Method 1: Post Titles

If you don’t know much about blogs, then a good tip is to make your blog titles as clear as possible. The best thing to do is make the title in a way you think people will search. For example: If a new Catalog is out, people will most likely search ‘Club Penguin Clothing Catalog Cheats’ or ‘Catalog Cheats August 2008′ etc. So, here are some bullets:

• Use the term ‘Club Penguin’ in the title
• Always be specific
• Use what you think people will Google/Yahoo/MSN search

And always remember to keep the title with good grammar.

Method 2: Tags & Catagories

If you are using WordPress, then most of you will add tags and/or catagories to your posts. These help people recognize what your post is about. If you notice, on the WordPress.com homepage, there is a Catagory List at the side. Make sure your tags/catagories are suited to your post. For example: If you are posting about Rockhopper returning, make some tags like ‘Where to find Rockhopper’ and ‘Club Penguin Rockhopper’. Here are some tips to making good tags & catagories.

• Think it or not, WordPress Tag pages have a high Google Ranking. If someone searches ‘Club Penguin Rockhopper’, a WordPress page would usually appear. So make sure you have the tag ‘Club Penguin Rockhopper’ for extra views.
• Be specific, and suit your tags to your post.
• Make sure to only use 1-8 tags/catagories, as it is against WordPress’ terms of service to use more than this amount.
• Use the term ‘Club Penguin’ in every tag/catagory. It is also good to use words such as ‘Cheats’, ‘Guides’, ‘Glitches’ and ‘Hints’

And always remember to keep the tags/catagories with good grammar.

Method 3: Trackers, Widgets, Guides

Another good method is making things that your visitors may want to use. Trackers are always good as visitors often want to know where someone is on Club Penguin. • Buttons should link to other pages on your website. This will get you more hits. Everytime someone visits a page/post on your blog, you get another hit.
• Guides should be titled on what you think visitors will search.

Follow these rules and you should get more hits.

Method 4: Pages

What you need on pages is something that viewers will want. Some examples of popular pages are listed below:

• Funny Pictures
• How to Find Rockhopper
• Club Penguin Cheats
• Club Penguin Free Membership Contests
• Club Penguin Legends

All of these pages should be fully informative. A sneaky tip: If you create a really good page, people might think ‘That could save me some work’ and copy it. This should give you a link back to your site. You should include plenty of images, as some people aren’t fond of reading. Try to keep the Word to Image ratio around 100 Words = 1 image. • Make sure that on your page you leave links to other pages on your website. Make this fit in with the page though.
• Make sure your page title is informative & viewers can know what the page is before going there. Also, pages show up on Google, so make sure the title are something you think people will search.
